Pre-Approved Wording for WhatsApp Survey / Broadcast Introductions

You sent out a WhatsApp broadcast or WhatsApp survey, but no message is received?

The most common issue is that your introduction message for your survey or for your broadcast was not pre-approved by WhatsApp.

The wording of the first question of your survey (or first message of your broadcast) needs to be approved by WhatsApp! WhatsApp requires this to avoid spam, and we support that.

Whenever you want to change anything in the wording of your introduction message, you have to ask the Impaxio team to register the new introduction message text with WhatsApp. This can take up to 72 hours to get approved.

What happens if you send a survey (or broadcast) without having the first question or message pre-approved?

If you try to use an introduction message that is not approved, most recipients will not receive it. Only people who had written to you in the preceding 24 hours would receive it.

We recommend to always live test your WhatsApp survey on your own WhatsApp number before sending it out.
